A Life of Riley: It's been a hard day!

Dear furry friends, humans and furry human friends alike... Welcome to my page!

My name is Sausage and I am a short haired Miniatured Dachshund who lives an absolute Life of Riley.

Born on the 4th of April 2011 in Bow, East London, (so yes... i am a PROPER Cockney...) I happily found my way into my Mummy's arms at twelve weeks old.

After some deliberation I was given the temporary name of John Gotti, but apparently my behaviour earnt me the name of silly sausage... and so it stuck... here I am... Sausage...

Of course, being a Dachshund i have three major loves in my life; food, cuddles and sleep. As the epitome of a Bed Dog with the ability to eat ten times my weight in food i indulge myself in these simple pleasures whenever and wherever i can!

My enjoyment does extend beyond food and sleep and i really enjoy barking at myself in the mirror or at my reflection in the windows much to my Mummy's annoyance. I do keep trying to tell her i am protecting her from that other horrible dog in the house, but she doesn't listen!

As for hobbies and activities i take great delight in socks! I really do love them and at every opportunity i "source" them from various locations; the sock drawer, the clothes airer, the dirty washing, the clean washing, from next to the tub when Mummy takes a bath and wherever else i might find them! After having accosted these unwitting socks i add them to my stockpile under the bed...

I also have a huge wardrobe of outfits and like nothing better than being a high fashion pup dressed up in my designer gear!

The boys often take me on their nights out... apparently i am woman magnet, but i don't see it myself... I'm just myself and chicks just dig it i guess...

I'd say I'm pretty sociable and like to spend time hanging out with the locals at my local coffee shop Corellis. It's especially great when Uncle Marco brings me a bit of Mortadella... YUM!!!
